Transforming women’s health through sleep

Sleep is not a piece of your health puzzle, it’s what holds it together.

Yet despite its critical role, sleep is overlooked, misunderstood, and under-utilized in both culture and in medicine.

In the Sleep for Women Workshops I combine key elements of sleep science, psychiatry, and women’s health to help women successfully navigate some of the most challenging life stages and health issues.

Sleep for Women Workshops:

✔ Evidence-based and natural (no supplements or pills)

✔ Tools you can use right away and in any life stage

✔ Money back guarantee if not satisfied

Overcoming Stress and Insomnia

Highly-effective solutions for insomnia and related symptoms exist, but most of the sleep advice women receive focuses on oversimplified sleep hygiene tips, supplements, or short-term symptom relief, while ignoring root causes, women’s biology, mental health, and how sleep actually works.

In this workshop, I share how you can restore your sleep at its core so that you can have more control, less stress, and better sleep.

Sleep, Weight & Metabolism

When it comes to weight regulation and metabolism, diet and exercise get most of the attention. But sleep matters just as much. Sleep profoundly impacts your weight as it influences what you eat, how much you eat, how your body processes food, insulin sensitivity, and where and how your body stores energy.

In this workshop, you’ll discover the surprising and powerful connection between sleep and metabolism and learn how small changes to your daily routine can have a big impact on your weight regulation and metabolic health.

Navigating Sleep and Health in Perimenopause and Menopause

Although they can be deeply unsettling, the changes in sleep, mood, weight, energy, and overall health that women experience during perimenopause and menopause are often the body’s attempt to adjust to a new hormonal environment. The key is learning how to anticipate these changes and work with them rather than against them.

In this workshop, I explain what shifts during this period, how those shifts show up, and how you can help your body adapt to them so you can have better sleep and navigate this transition with more clarity and confidence.

The Pregnancy and Postpartum Blueprint

The pregnancy and postpartum periods can be among the most exciting and vulnerable times in a woman’s life. Routines are disrupted, the body undergoes immense change, sleep disorders become more common, and anxiety and mental health can be deeply affected. Yet most of the medical and societal attention goes to the baby.

In this workshop, I explain what changes during pregnancy and postpartum, how those changes affect sleep, mood, energy, and recovery, and, most importantly, how mothers can protect their own health while caring for their child.

About me

Hi, I'm Dr. Jessica Oehlke, a double board-certified physician in Sleep Medicine and Psychiatry.

My pregnancy and postpartum experiences opened my eyes to how little attention we pay to women's unique sleep needs despite extensive evidence showing how deeply hormonal changes and other biological factors affect women’s sleep across the lifespan.

I created Sleep for Women to offer evidence-based education and tools to help women unlock the full power of sleep and elevate their health and well-being at every stage of life.

Every woman deserves sleep solutions that actually work for her body!
